The title of this post is reference to the 1939 musical film “The Wizard of Oz”. It’s one of the oldest movies that I actively enjoy (instead of just appreciating the significance of). Anyway, I use this line because it describes the truth” my notecards, stickies, and the lists they contain has gotten too long. It needs to be consolidated.
Thankfully I have a system for consolidation. Explore, catalogue and consolidate 1.18.2017 makes use of that system and gives a great starting place for my consolidation today. But this post, I don’t want to Explore, catalogue, and consolidate, I just want to feel the weight of these lists and lament that I have forgotten them.
So many precious things to examine have gotten pushed to the wayside because I needed to focus on school, yet so often I was not focussing on school and distracting myself with wasteful things. If only I could figure out a way to spend my rest from school time working on these things, then maybe I could strike the perfect balance and maximize my time.
To my reader, I have no idea who you are, but I want to connect with you. The unexamined life is not worth living and I intend to examine mine. Hopefully you can provide some insight.
